Bouncy the Tennis Ball was very excited on the day of his first ever tennis tournament in sunny California. But when one of the players accidentally hits Bouncy over the tennis court fence, he finds himself stranded outside the court in a storage yard wilderness inhabited by rejected tennis balls known as the ‘baddie balls’. Bouncy must embark on a daring, rollercoaster adventure to get back into the tennis court. Only then, can he fulfil his dream of becoming a championship-winning ball…

…‘Bouncy the Tennis Ball’ is the story of a brave championship-winning tennis ball and his world of talking tennis balls, sport’s balls and sport’s accessories.

Bouncy’s friends include, ‘Speedy’, the fastest girl tennis ball in the West, ‘Swifty,’ a cunning young boy ball and ‘Quarterbob’, a kindly grizzled veteran US Football. Bouncy’s nemesis is ‘Crew Cut’, a discarded worn tennis ball who has lost most of his yellow felt covering.

Bouncy’s story will appeal to all children and tennis fans of any age. Promoting reading skills, helping to develop a child’s imagination, a desire for sports’ activities and exercise are all positive influences. Bouncy the Tennis Ball…and the Crazy Cleaning Day

After the excitement of his ‘First Great Adventure’, Bouncy settles happily into his new Californian home, where he starts to make friends with the tennis balls and sports balls who live with him in the house. However, when a grumpy ‘cleaning lady’ arrives to clean the house with her powerful vacuum cleaner, Bouncy’s world is turned upside down. Bouncy’s new friendships will be made and tested. But can he also solve the riddle of the cleaning lady’s unhappiness and help her to smile once again?…

…Bouncy’s second adventure re-introduces familiar characters from Bouncy’s earlier story. These include ‘Speedy’, the fastest girl tennis ball in the West, as well as Bouncy’s friend and mentor, ‘Quarterbob’, the kindly veteran US football. New faces are ‘Fee-Fee’, the frisky French shuttle-cock girl who competes for Bouncy’s affections with ‘Speedy’, along with ‘Jaws’, another tennis ball who lives in the house swimming pool and might just be as kind as he is menacing.
