Would you like to know who I am and where I come from?
I was born in the wonderful magical ‘Sunrise Tennis Ball Factory’ near the town of Sunset, California, north of beautiful Monterey. Awesome weather! My early days were spent playing with the other new and happy tennis balls in the factory’s exercise and training rooms, as well as practice sessions on the factory’s tennis courts. As a tennis ball, knowing your court lines and corners is vital! Soon the day came when we were all sent out into the tennis world, snuggled and cozy inside our unopened tennis ball cans. Everyone was eager to play tennis and have fun!
My first tournament was at the ‘Pasadena Pacific Tennis Club Championships’ located in warm Southern California. Wow, what a place!
First Tournament…
My first tournament was at the ‘Pasadena Pacific Tennis Club Championships’ located in warm Southern California. Wow, what a place! Here, as you’ll read in my first story book, thanks to some help from a new friend, ‘Quarterbob’, the super-smart veteran NFA football, I fulfilled my dream of becoming a ‘championship-winning’ ball. Yippee!
Where’s home?
Now, I live with my wonderful owner, Maria Melody. Her house is in beautiful Pasadena across the hills from Hollywood where many big movies and TV shows are made. ‘Lights, camera, action!’ Hope we make ‘Bouncy the Tennis Ball: The Movie’ one day soon. At the house, I have lots of tennis ball friends, as well as other sports ball pals, not forgetting my amazing Biographer buddy, Swiss pen, Otto Graph. Two of my best friends are ‘Speedy’, the fastest tennis ball girl in the west, and ‘Fee-Fee’, the French shuttlecock girl.
My owner, Maria, often travels to faraway places. Sometimes she takes me with her, along with Otto Graph who signs tennis balls for Maria’s fans. We’ve had many amazing adventures, including trips to Wimbledon in London, The French Open at Roland Garros and to the wonderful land of Australia down under. I’ve even travelled back in time to the ancient ‘mystical tennis world of old’, but more about that in a future story.
I’m a big Star Wars junkie. I really liked the new movie, ‘The Force Awakens.’ ‘May the Bounce be with you!’
Favorites
Besides tennis, I love my cool hobbies – reading children’s books and exciting novels, fun games in the garden with my friends, watching cartoons and movies on TV, as well as the world of ‘Star Wars’. I’m a big Star Wars junkie. I really liked the new movie, ‘The Force Awakens.’ ‘May the Bounce be with you!’ My top snacks are gooey marshmallows, fruit smoothies and wholesome milkshakes, but not coffee flavour. Yuck!

Well, I’d better bounce; lots to do today. I have a new recent adventure to relay to Otto who I believe is upstairs in his little den catching-up on all the latest tennis scores online. Then I’ll race along to see Quarterbob, who lives in a house down the street with his cool owner, young boy ‘Jock’ and his friendly family.
